My friend Keefie has given you a giggle or two at my expense this month, so when I asked him if I could write the final piece, he had little choice but to say yes. I think he was actually quite pleased because he had no idea what to come up with for the letter Z! I suggested Zoppetto* but he no idea what it meant.
I was going to tell you all about my Zumba classes because that starts with a Z but I’ve decided against it. I didn’t really enjoy them anyway, and last night when instructor Bossy Bella suggested I quit I was quite relieved.
It wasn’t my fault I bopped Nancy on the nose, she came too close to me. It wasn’t my fault I elbowed Martha in the ribs; she should have shimmied to the left, not to the right – or should I have shimmied to right, not the left? Whatever, it wasn’t my fault. It wasn’t my fault I trod on Florence’s foot or tripped Tracy up, or knee’d Brenda’s butt, or farted like a foghorn when I bent down! These things happen
Anyway, I just want to say thank you for all the nice things you’ve said and for coming to my defence on several occasions this month. I’m blowing you all a big wet kiss! Mwah mwah slobber slobber!
As you seemed to like my poem on day seven I thought I‘d leave you with one I’ve written especially for you…
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Most poems rhyme
This one doesn’t!
Bye bye x
*BTW, Zoppetto is Italian limping hop dance. Florence is quite good at it since last night!

On our last day in Amble Bay, dear old Arthur, who’d been with us all month, unexpectedly passed away. If you like say farewell again, click HERE
I hope you come back to visit Rosie. 🙂
Just try and stop me! Thanks KJ
I thought Rosey would just catch some Zs on her last day. Thanks for another chuckle.
Yep, she shoved me aside again! Cheers, Denise.
Rosie you are fabulous and fun!! I’ve enjoyed getting to know you this month! Mwah 💋
That is SO kind of you, thank you.
Rosey, you are a friend indeed, and i hope you find another Zumba class if you enjoy the dancing!
..or kick-boxing maybe! Cheers Mimi.
Kick boxing sounds perfect for Rosey!
Hi Rosey – you’d better say ‘allo to that man Keefie … he’s sustained us all with your stories – and boy do you have fun … pity about the Zumba class …. perhaps you could start at ‘ell next time and do line dancing … take care – enjoy the croquet over the summer (when it comes) … and see you around the place – oh and congratulate Keefie .. but I ‘spect he’s in the pub have a zizzing beer – cheers Hilary
Rosey and croquet Just imagine. She’d probably confuse it with golf and bash the ball to kingdom come! As for line dancing, she can’t draw a straight line let alone dance in one! Thanks, Hilary.
Thank you Rosie (and Keith) for an entertaining month of giggles. I look forward to reading more from you both in the future. All the best, Iain

Thanks so much for your support during April Iain. Don’t worry, she’s going nowhere!
A fun end to a fun series. Nicely done, Keith (and Rosey) Maybe she should try Pilates.
I’m thinking perhaps she should go the whole hog and take up boxing! Thanks so much Varad
Thank you Rosey for the giggles. I have loved getting to know you through Keith’s April A to Z. Cheers to your friendship.
Take care, Rosey. See you again, soon, on Keith’s blog.🙂
Congratulations Keith on successfully completing your wonderfully humourous A to Z series. Thanks for adding so much laughter to our days.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Rosey and I have had a ball! Once again there was very little humour to be found in this years A-Z which I why I decided to take that route. Cheers.
I think this comment goes to Rosey and her description of her Zumba class made so annoying by the others around her. I enjoyed the series thoroughly Keith and look forward to many more giggles thanks to Rosey. Congratulations on finishing the A to Z.
I delighted you enjoyed her stories more than her colleagues did their Zumba session! Thanks so much Kalpana
Even on the last day, she leaves an affectionate trail behind…slobber..slobber!
Thank you for the laughs Keith. Rosey and you took the pressure off of the April challenge. Congratulations to you both and raising the glass to many happy returns:)
Z is for Zaroorat and Zahrah
Thanks for your kind words. Rosey might have gone, but hopefully, she won’t be forgotten!
Thanks for the wonderful A-Z series Rosey and Keith. Hope Rosey gets to enjoy some time off with Petal 🙂
Keith, Please publish a book and Rosey will win more hearts around the world.
I am so pleased you enjoyed them. So many people have suggested a book that I think I may have to explore the possibilities!
Ah Rosey, I see why Keith likes you so. Don’t be a stranger!
No danger of that Jacqui! Thanks for your company throughout April. Is there a genre called Ditsy?
Congratulations to you and Rosey on finishing up the challenge!
We had fun, Kristin! Thank you.
What a fun (albeit sometimes dangerous) romp through April with Rosey. Thanks Keith!
Battered and bruised but undaunted! Thanks so much for sticking with us throughout April Debrah.
You’re a true zinger, sweet Rosey! It’s been a joy to tag along with you. Do tell that fabulous friend of yours (Keefie) Congratulations on captivating A – Z Challenge!
Message sent, received, liked and thanked for! Diedre, thanks for company this month.
It was fun getting to know you, Rosy.
Congrats on finishing the challenge.

A great month all round! Thanks so much for sticking with Rosey and me this month
I’ve loved every day of Rosie – such talent for capturing one person’s world. Thank you and congratulations on the challenge.
Thanks so much. I had great fun writing them and would happily carried on for another month!
Thank for coming back to say goodbye, Rosey! It was fun spending a month getting to know a bit about you.
Congratulations on another entertaining and successful A to Z, Keefie! I certainly enjoyed myself!
Emily In Ecuador
Since reading your posts Rosey is threatening to take a trip to Ecuador. I’ll warn you if she hops on a plane! Thanks for following Rosey’s antics during April. Much appreciated.
What a cute way to end the challenge. Congratulations on completing such a fun, unique theme!
That’s very kind of you Jenny, I had fun too! Thank you.
Congrats to Keefie and Rosey for an uber fun series and thanks much for the smiles. I didn’t manage to read all of Rosey’s exploits but the ones I did were super.
Best wishes,
Nilanjana.
There are so many writers we want to visit, but we only have so much time! Nilanjana, thank you so much for dropping by when you had the opportunity, and for your comments.
Ha ha ha. That was a truly touching, at times hard-hitting (literally) farewell speech from Rosey.
Congrats on completing the challenge with aplomb Keith, even though you had some unfair help from Rosey. Please tell her: So long, and thanks for all the fish. I’m hoping it will keep her busy till whenever we bump into her, for she’ll be thinking about the nonexistent fish that she gifted to us 🙂
Nice reference to Hitchhikers Guide, one of Rosey’s favourite books, and yes, she certainly helped! Never fear, we’ll be bumping into her if she doesn’t crash into us first!
So good to hear from you, Rosy. You are one hell of an amazing and fun lady. I loved knowing about your interesting life through Keefie. Hope we get to read more from you. Cheers
You ain’t heard nothin’ yet! Cheers, Shilpa.
Thank you keith
A Special Shoutout to you
Fun post! I had a little fun with mine, too, and an imaginary friend blogger helped. Congrats on winning the challenge!
They are very handy to have around! Cheers Jen
