My Friend Rosey has been a feature of my blog since I set it up twelve years ago. To read all about her in 200 or so words, click HERE
My friend Rosey’s had an assortment of animals over the years. She currently has two white kittens, Fuzzybutt and Scruff.
She once had a little dog, Shitsy the Shih-Tzu. She liked posing with him in the park but picking up it’s ‘sushi’ with a pooper- scooper made her feel sick, so he had to go.
Then there was Bob the goldfish; not technically an animal but it was a pet. It died. Rosey said it got hiccups, choked and drowned. She considered artificial respiration but worried she might swallow it – she only likes fish fried in batter with chips!
Over the years she’s had Tom the tortoise, Leggy the tarantella, Twitch the rabbit, a rat named The Rat, a pony called Trotter and a tame snail called Slime!
When she got home from the pub the other night, she stumbled through her door into the darkness of her hall, and mistook Fuzzybutt and Scruff for her furry slippers! Fortunately, they are none the worse for Rosey’s attempts at shoving her toes where the sun don’t shine!

Loved the names of Rosey’s pets. I admire that she tries her hands on pett-ing so many different animals. Looks like she has finally discovered her favourite pet.
