for Six Sentence Stories where the given word is Knot.
Last week… a silent hoard of Locals stared into my eyes…the light flickered and they disappeared leaving me frightened, alone and desperate to leave the vault… the door was jammed so I ran through the mouth of a tunnel … I ran and I ran….
.
.
…my light failed, the battery must have run out so I had to feel my way along the wall being careful not to trip on the uneven floor, then it turned a sharp corner and my heart missed a beat as I spotted someone in the distance, holding a lamp, a Local.
I wanted to stop, my stomach was in knots but I was somehow drawn towards him, then as I got closer he turned away and started walking, I followed.

Local…brilliant use of the word by simply capitalizing the first letter!
Which led me to search for a meaning of the reverse word Lacol…and there was:”Lacol is a name that evokes logical reasoning. You are possibly intelligent, intuitive, graceful, and even a psychic. Interest in spirituality and mysticism is a strong possibility in your quest for truth.”
Yeah, I know Keith…I know😁

There’s clearly more to the Locals than meets the eye – and possibly to the person who introduced them to you!

Well described and spooky. Ending this episode with laughter makes me think something bad is going to happen next.
