I can’t put it off any longer. The fireplace is supposed to be the focal point of the room, not the dumping ground. The trouble is, I like to write a piece for my blog on a Monday and my muse would be most unamused if I pushed her aside with all that rubbish.
It’s twelve-thirty, at least I think it is. The thing is, I forgot to put the clock forward last weekend, but then again, I have a feeling I forgot to put it back an hour last autumn. Oh, I don’t know. Whatever the time is, if I get cracking with the tidying I might get finished by four-thirty, stroke, five-thirty which will leave me an hour, or two hours, to write a piece before Gin-o-Clock!

It’s not going well, the time’s flying by and I’ve hardly made an impression. What do I see under that book? It’s a poem I wrote and never used! If WordPress behaves (for a change) I can post that and still finish sorting the fireplace out by feet-up time! Here goes…
