See and saw

image-3I can’t put it off any longer. The fireplace is supposed to be the focal point of the room, not the dumping ground. The trouble is, I like to write a piece for my blog on a Monday and my muse would be most unamused if I pushed her aside with all that rubbish.

It’s twelve-thirty, at least I think it is. The thing is, I forgot to put the clock forward last weekend, but then again, I have a feeling I forgot to put it back an hour last autumn. Oh, I don’t know. Whatever the time is, if I get cracking with the tidying I might get finished by four-thirty, stroke, five-thirty which will leave me an hour, or two hours, to write a piece before Gin-o-Clock!

It’s not going well, the time’s flying by and I’ve hardly made an impression.  What do I see under that book? It’s a poem I wrote and never used! If WordPress behaves (for a change) I can post that and still finish sorting the fireplace out by feet-up time! Here goes…

That didn’t take long, did it?

Right, where shall I put these books? And what about this picture of me during my Adonis period? That plant’s dying and as for that…..

One can hardly be blamed for avoiding the unamusement of one’s muse. Good job finding that unused poem. Bravo Keith a fun read.

When you finish with tidy up time at your place, head over to my place. I have lots of old poems you can have….for free!

Neat little verse! Are you planning to burn all those books? One way of tidying up, but you should add them one at a time. 🙂
