for Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers photo prompt.

I visited an exhibition of modern art the other day and I was reminded of the time I went a museum with my friend Rosey.
We were walking through a room of Rubenesque statues, voluptuous ladies in provocative poses. Rosey was not impressed and said there should be more sculptures of the male form.
I jokingly pointed to sign saying Men, and off she trotted!
Minutes later she was standing before a row of urinals!
She told me she owns a nude male statue now. I asked where she got it. ‘The toy shop’, she said, ‘it’s Barbie’s friend, Ken’!

Chihuly glass. I was just telling my grandson about him. Wonder what Rosie would say about one of his exhibits.
L
I’ve just been looking at some of his work on line, it’s amazing!
As for that exhibit, she’d probably try and eat it, it does look a bit like spun sugar!
Rosie is a trusting soul
A liitle naive too, but I wouldn’t want her any other way!
HA!
Thanks, Misky!
Hahahahaha this was fun.
I’m really pleased you like it Kritika!
🙂 🙂
Keith, you took an idea and you ran with it, from urinals to eunichs. I love it!
I guess I did!
Thanks for providing the picture, Lisa.
You are very welcome.
okay, that totally cracked me up! Thanks for the laugh.
Mission accomplished! Thanks so much.
))))))!
That’ll do nicely!
🤣🤣🤣
Perfect, thanks, Sadje!
Most welcome
Hehehe! I love the dynamic/humor between these friends!
If that’s glass it must weigh a ton!
I’m pretty sure it is and it does!
I have an artist friend who has nude Ken and Barbie dolls in some of her art. Not my cup of tea, but there it is.
Oh my, not mine either! Each to their own I say.
Yep!
Oh Rosie, she walked into that one. I am slightly taken aback, what did she see in the ‘Mens’ by the urinals?
I wish she would stop winking at me.
Haha! Although I guess she might have seen something other than urinals if she stayed there long enough. Sounds like she’s better off with Ken
Dear Keith,
Rosey is entertaining to say the least. Fun story.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Oh poor Rosie. I hope she wasn’t traumatised by her experience in the Men’s room. 😳. Her Ken ‘statue’ should be much more edifying. I think.
Good story – I haven’t one about Rosie from you for such a long time.
