Whilst on my recent trip, I paid a visit to an amazing museum! This is just a handful of the many pictures I took there.
I’ve added dates above the ones I remembered to make a note of!

I apolgise for the vast number of pictures I threw at you this week, I promise to be more sparing when you join me at the Andre Rieu concert in Abi Dhabi next time round!
Here’s where you add your link should you so desire!
I would have loved to visit this museum. You do the most amazing things.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. :)
I have my son and his wife for organising 6 fun-filled days in the UAE last month!
Amazing pictures Keith.
Thanks Sadje, but they hardly do it justice!
That’s true my friend
It amazes me how these pieces last through all these years.
It’s funny because two weeks ago, I went to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and, for the first time, went up to the third floor where there were exhibits of ancient pieces like your first ones! Serendipity!
I wonder what relics of today will in museums 2000 years from now!
Boxes of computers just don’t seem all that exciting. 😏 I wonder, too.
I am happy to recieve and enjoy your castings Keith. Beautiful art and sculptures. I would love to visit that museum. What sparklers those diamonds in the Cartier pieces.
I’ve never seen a museum like it!
Thanks again for sharing your photos, Keith.
A lot of great art pieces there. I especially like the Egyptian and Roman ones.
It reminds me a lot of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, which has a large collection of Egyptian, near east and Mediterranean art, as well as similar “decorative arts” from the 19th century.
There are. It’s wonderful to be transported back in time by such relics.
So very beautiful. Love all the gems there. So cool that you got to go. I am jealous. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thanks so much. I’ve been to lots of museum, but never one like that!
Those are all amazing artefacts and lovely photos. Do you know if the horse was stuffed and preserved or had been modelled. I ask because when we were in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg there were three horses in full armour and had been preserved.
I haven’t a clue, now you’ve got me wondering!
Amazing- it blows my mind how old some of these are
For once, I felt young! Cheers, Beth.
Absolutely fantastic photos of gorgeous art this week, thanks for sharing!
Mitch
Thanks Mitch, the pleasure’s mine!
These are fabulous, thank you, and I don’t think it was too many at all.
Thanks, Mimi!
Hi Keith – must have been brilliant to see – so much on offer … I always get blown away with these sorts of museums. Stunning – and such a pleasure to see some Cartier at the end … lucky you – cheers Hilary
I had a great time there, Hiilary! A museum like no other.
Great artifacts! I love going to museums and I love that you spoiled us with many photos, Keith. Thank you 🙂
Thanks so much, it was quite a collection Maria!
Keith, your photos have taken me on a fascinating journey through history and art. Each piece holds its own story and significance, and your keen eye for detail brings them to life even through the screen. Thank you for sharing this enriching experience with us.
I’m so pleased you enjoyed them. Everything was beautifully displayed which made photographing them so simple.
