I’m still working my way through the masses of photos I took during my action packed visit to my family in Dubai!

0We enjoyed a performance of The Phantom of the Opera at the magnificent Dubai Opera House. Photography was not allowed during the performance so I had to make do with a picture of the stage as people were taking their seats!

Afterwards we took a stroll around the immediate area. These are a few of  of the pictures I took along with a rather dodgy video!

    Wow, what a beautiful place. Everything looks so clean. Unlike here in California. I love the video of the fountain. That was beautiful and amazing.

    So bright and modern! It reminds me a bit of Singapore, or the “Pudong” section of Shanghai. I particularly like the rectangular buildings that remind me a bit of microchips or musical keyboards.
