“Someone’s knockin’ at the door…”

 “It’s probably a witch”.

“Halloween was yesterday”.

“No, I mean that scary woman from two doors down. She borrowed our broom on Monday. She’ll have put quite a few flying miles on it!”

“Someone’s ringin’ the bell…” 

“It’ll be carol singers”.

“Christmas isn’t for weeks!”

“Tell the supermarkets that, they already have aisles overflowing with festive fare”.

“Who was that text from?”

“The kids.  They forgot to take their keys and wanted to make sure we weren’t going out. It must be them!” 

“Do me a favour…”

“What?” 

“Open the door and let ‘em in!”

        Yes. Along with center-parted looooong hair and headband, and tie-dyed everything. Fashion was so special then 🙂

    Don’t open the door. It’ll be kids demanding bon bons with menaces. And that’s not even a British tradition. Stand up for our culture and tell the little blighters to leave it out

    Not the neighbourhood witch, not carol singers, just their kids trying to get their attention. Very funny. Great storytelling (and singing).
