“Ladies and gents, lads and lasses, our next karaoke crooner never fails to entertain us, it’s the one and only, thank goodness, Pete the Pavanotti! I would shout ‘make some noise for Pete’, but he makes enough of it himself without our help!”
“Cheeky bugga” laughed Pete as he grabbed the microphone, “tonight I’m going to sing ya’ a song called It’s a Boot’ful Day made famous by Canadia’s fab’lus Michael Bubble”.
“Is he the bloke that won POP Idol?” asked Annie, “no, that’s James Bond’s mate, Bubble-o-seven!” shouted Sid!
“Right, music mice-poo please” yelled Pete before starting to sing a completely different song from the one on the backing track, You’re Beautiful I think it was.
He does a bit of stand-up comedy too, I’ll tell you about that another day.
