A few words…

for Friday Fictioneers

Silence falls as the auditorium lights dim.

Violins screech a chilling tune as a winter-clad bard stands before the curtain and unfurls a parchment scroll.

“Let’s bid farewell

to the season of chill”.

The fiddles fall silent.  He sheds his cloak as the curtain glows gold. He continues.

    Dear Keith,

Very clever way to share a verse about spring. Imaginative and fun, as is your floral froggie. 😀

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

Thanks, Rochelle. Verse is not really my thing, so I thought that by wrapping it in a story I might just get away with it!

Lovely… the stage is set for spring (I say this as they call for another friggen 6-8 inches of snow in the next few days)

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings February 27, 2020 / 11:04

All we are predicted to get is rain, rain and more rain.

      • Dale's avatar Dale February 27, 2020 / 11:52

Ugh. Calling for snow but it is rain that is falling now.

The curtains are still closed here, or at least there is still far more snow on the ground than flowers… Great way to open spring!

No snow here so far (crosses fingers!) Cheers Trent.
