The “mouse” that found its way into my house ate the pistachio nuts before escaping. We have those big African snails here in Hawaii, not sure how they got here. https://gail-baugniet.blogspot.com
However they got there, it must have taken a long time! Cheers Gail.

Hi Keith – yes lots of creepy crawlies around … while being a kid one needs to be outside finding new things to play with – be it manure with worms, or little fish from the pond … your stories are a delight – cheers Hilary
I feel like this would be a great kindergarten transition activity, like do the actions of the frog/worm/bee before the child comes up and then everyone sits on the carpet for listening LOL my brain works in weird ways sometimes
Your mind is a wonderful thing to come up with wildly creative scenes through a child’s eye. Did I ever ask if you have any published children’s stories?
Love the rhyme. It’s cute and it works.
I don’t think I’ll ever become the UK’s Poet Lauriate, but at least I had a go! Cheers Sascha.

Happy days! Days before they spend all their time glued to an iPhone! Thanks so much Hilary.
Or grow up and glue themselves to other things?! Life …
Sounds like a young Gerald Durrell 😀

Not at all, I think it’s a brilliant idea!
Cute and sweet. I like the child saying, ‘if my mum and my dad said I could’… Knowing the regular parents, it would be a big NO!! 😐
Definitely! Cheers Shilpa.
So Cute! So much fun to read.

So pleased you liked it, thank you.
A goo kid-sized zoo!
That’s what I thought! Thanks Liam
Sometimes it’s just so much fun to pretend!
I do it all the time!
