Lovely, Keith. So nice of you to share the doors to your adventures. It reminds me of a blog I followed years ago which was just about doors and windows.
I find doors and windows intruiging!
What a fabulous and eclectic selection!
Thanks Dale!
Great gallery and theme, Keith. I love doors of all kinds and your have great variety here all perfectly photographed with awesome lighting. I the green door in Greece and the blue door with the chair. I enjoyed this!
Thanks so much, Suzette – the blue door and chair is my favourite too!
Just to mention, there’s a wonderful doors challenge by Dan at https://nofacilities.com/2026/10/15/october-doors/
In case you feel so inclined to link your post to for fellow door lovers to enjoy. No pressure.
Thanks for that, Suzette – I’ve added this to Dan’s challenge!
I wonder what’s behind the doors? Especially the Green Doors.
If only we knew!
Fabulous array, Keith! 💖 You’ve been to so many amazing places in this world. My guess for the “guess” photo is Venice. I always love the pics of your home area, too. Those ruins look interesting and I’m curious to know more.
Thanks, Debbie – you may be right! The ruins are at Bodium Castle, a few miles from me. Next week I’ll be posting pictures of a Roman castle just down the road!
These are so beautiful, dear Keith. I’m guessing the location is Venice; the sign (Parochia s. Canzain) tells me it must be the San Canciano. Your pics always take my breath away.
Thanks for your generous words, Nancy. That’s 2 votes for Venice so must both be right!
Love them all, but the panorama lounge is my favorite. I would love to visit that fabulous space.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
Thanks, Sandee. I enjoyed sitting in there, beer in hand!
Beautiful, and beautiful again. I loved the lavender shop and hope you left a tip for taking a photo.
I did indeed, Mimi!
Fantastic photos Keith. Thanks for sharing. You are a world traveler. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks, Sadje. I’ve still got so much to see!
I bet you’ve seen more than most of us. Thanks for sharing your travels
Was the boat one of the Hurtigruten? It looks like the one we went on. I really love the clouds reflected on the windows in Maderia. Excellent shot
It’s Lydia.
It was indeed, Lydia, the Kong Harald!
It is truly amazing all the different sizes, shapes and styles of doors and windows and to think they have been making the variety for centuries.
I like to imagine the people who used them!
Doors and windows can convey so much, about their surroundings and what may be behind them.
I especially like the series of blue doors that opens the set, and those perfectly lined windows on the concrete facade in Madiera.
Indeed they can.
I had a feeling you might like that one when I took it!
Truely a series of windows with exotic variety
This that and the other!
Another stunning gallery, Keith!
It’s kind of you to say so, Shiju, thank you.
These are all lovely photos. The doors are wonderful, and I also love seeing windows, especially the ones reflecting that beautiful blue sky. Speaking of blue, we don’t see a lot of blue doors, so that’s always a treat. Thanks for sharing these.
