Hi Keith – amazingly lush, considering all things – but I note there are lots of berries around … good for insect and bird life … blackberry and apple crumble = yum! Cheers Hilary
Blackberries, yum. It’s been years. Not sure I’ve ever seen cosmos as a wildflower. and the orange rose looks like a cultivated variety so maybe these were both escapees from cultivation. I know your climate is a lot milder than where I live in the Northeast United States, and that may be why I didn’t recognize some of the other plants. I enjoyed your walk for that very reason. Gorgeous! Thanks for the lovely share!
Thank you, the pleasure’s mine, Nancy!
The beauty of nature. 🌿 Lovely pics, Keith! 😀
Indeed, thanks, Debbie. I took them along a disused railway track that’s now a very popular venue for dog walkers!
I wouldn’t have walked farther than the berries.
I did pause there for quite a while!
Vibrant photos. I suddenly feel at peace with the world, a great counter balance to social media.
That’s nice to know, thank you!
i love all the fruits and flowers!
Me too, Beth! It’s a lovely place to walk.
A wonderful walk. Wish hubby and I had been with you. Beautiful shots.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
You’d enjoy it, I’m sure, Sandee!
My first visit to your blog. Very pretty and colorful images!

Gracias. Es aún mejor cuando estás allí en persona!
So pretty and bright colors too. Mom saw the first berries and almost started to drool, they look so good.
They were delicious, I had lots!
Beautiful photos, especially the rose 🌹
Thanks, Sadje. I was surprised to find it in a wild hedgerow!
It’s so lovely
Is that mulberry? Look delicious 😀

The ultimate pud! Thanks, Hilary.
You live in such a vibrant and nature rich area, Keith. You are truly blessed. I love the berries!
I am. Sea to the south, countryside to the north!
I love the lush deep greens of late summer.
And the berries and flowers at a nice, colorful contrast.
Me too! Thanks so much.

Thank you Alana, the rose was really unexpected. I assume a member of the public planted it – in memory of someone maybe.
Love these nature shots, Keith! A really refreshing change from your usual posts.
We’ve run out of events now, so I’m having to look elsewhere! Thank you, Shiju.
The green and the plants are so beautiful
They are! Thanks so much.
Here’s mine!
