I don’t often repeat stories, but now and again I can’t resist the opportunity! Here’s a shortened version of one I posted six years ago.

Such a dull job. My colleagues think I’m miserable. I seldom smile. Or do I? Unbeknown to them, come nightfall I trade clerking for twerking!
On with my glossiest lipstick, my slinkiest dress and highest heels. A swing of my hips I’m on my way!
My favourite club. The music, the lights, wow! There’s Rob from sales chatting up Sally from accounts. He called me dreary the other day. I’ll show him, move over girl, I’m on my way!
Actually, I need the loo first. Remember, lady’s room not men’s.

Excellent! Run this again in another six years; there won’t be any signs on the bathroom doors!
So true, Nancy, it’s already started!
I started out thinking this was written by a man. Then said, no, a woman. Guess I was right the first time. Clever switcheroo.
A double gotcha! Thanks Denise.
Love this twerking clerk with a dark secret Keith 😅
He’ll be pleased to hear it! Thanks, Ange.
What do you expect after rhe endless dreary days at work. We all need some excitement in our lives.
Of course we do – why hide in the closet?
Nicely done! And thank you for trying to comment on my blog, all of Blogger was having trouble, almost no one could post comments anywhere and it kicked up a firestorm.
Thanks, Mimi, so I’ve heard!
love this, good call!
Cleverly written, Keith.
