I popped down the road to the beach the other day – I got a bit damp and was almost blown off my feet several times. The things I do for you….!

I am not a beach person (despite being a former boat owner, a 30 footer no less, lol), but the beach pics are better than the light coating of snow I woke up to. So, thank you for your efforts!
Thanks, Denise. I like walking on beaches but not spending time sitting on them! I always facied being a canal boat owner, but never got round to it.
I used to follow a transplanted Canadian blogger who grew up in England on a canal boat. She had some interesting posts about it. I miss her now that she has passed.
so nice that you are so close to a beach and it does look wild and windy
It couldn’t be more different today! Blue, calm … lovely!
A windy day – brave of you to venture out to the beach.
It takes more than that to stop me!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Makes me long to be by the ocean again! Wind and all!
After all these years, I can’t imagine living without it but a few steps away. The sea has a coat of many colours!
Wow! Wonderful!

Thanks so much for that link, Nancy, I’d not heard it before, it’s such fun! We have a newly restored little bandstand on the prominade – I can just imagine it being performed there!
What a refreshing post! Here? The stuff falling from the sky is white and it is staying on the ground!!! Ugh.
Still? Today we are enjoying one of the warmest April days on record. Sorry, I shouldn’t really have told you that!!!
Ugh. Today the sun is shining and we are expecting, are you ready for this? A whopping 6℃ (that feels like 2)
I love, love, love the beach. A great place to unwind. What beautiful shots. I can smell the salt, hear the birds and feel the breeze.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
It was great down there, it was worth getting blown to bits!
Beautiful, every inch. Thank you, I miss going to the beach every year.
I’m sure you do, Mimi, thank you.
Wind makes for pretty wild water shots! It is funny how it can make it look like it has soap in it as well.
How that happens I really don’t know!
Beautiful, if scary (!), photos!
I did quite a few leaps backwards!
Hi Keith – great pics … it can be fun living by the seaside – mostly it is. Enjoy the sun today … cheers Hilary
I do love to be beside the seaside – whatever the weather. Isn’t it great today!
Lovely photos showing the power of the sea! When we cruise, there is nothing I like better than watching the ocean from my balcony. When it is rough, usually the Irish Sea or the Bay of Biscay and others are rushing to lower decks, you will find me enjoying the wildness.

I’d be there with you! Isn’t nature wonderful?
Dramatic waves there! No wonder things got a little damp 😉
I also really like the colorful stones on the beach – provides a great textural contrast with the foamy, chaotic waves.
Since I haven’t been to a beach in almost 2 years, this is my redemption. :))
Thanks Keith. Happy weds!
Keith – your angry and alive sea – wow – great photo shoot and I could almost smell the salty air with your images
Also, my story for FF today had me looking for a painting I made in 2013 – for Crane’s short story The Open Boat. I only found a detail of it – but wow – it sure matches some of your images today??

The seaside is “home” to me so I love your wonderful photos. You captured the drama of the waves perfectly, Keith.
The water splash look so good
Yes, I like it!
Lovely set, Keith, especially the way you’ve caught the light.
I love the beach.
These photos are stunning.
I can almost taste the salt in the air, hear the waves rolling, and feel the gentle breeze on my skin.
