Oy, you clumsy clot, look what you’ve done!
Ooops, sorry about that.
You should look where you’re going!
Guess what I bumped into the other day.
No idea, what?
Everything, which is why I’ve decided to get some glasses!
You should have eaten more carrots when you were young.
Why?
Because they contain vitamin see!
As well as sight there are four other senses, touch, smell, hearing, and, erm, it’s on the tip of my tongue…..!
Nonsense in your case!
Seriously though, I need to get going.
Why, what are you doing today?
Collecting my glasses, then…… I’ll see!

Dear Keith,
A very inSIGHTful dialogue. On the other hand some people are just natural klutzes. 😉 Made me smile.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thanks Rochelle, I’m often told I am!
A “vision” of loveliness.
I “see” what you did there, James!
He sounds as blind as I am without my glasses!
I know how you feel!
How well I can relate!
Join the club!
Hahaha! For some, glasses won’t fix what ails them 😉
True, though my wine and whisky glasses are quite helpful!
Indubitably!
Vitamin See, I love it. My kids are always after me to get glasses.
They must be seeing something you’re not, Lisa!
lol!
I wonder if the seeing will be to his taste
I wonder too!
Sadly I need to replace mine, but I’m living in a delusional denial of soft edges around everything at the moment. Good stuff
I’m having the dreaded eye test next week, for me it’s not just the edges are soft right now!
Good luck, my glasses are falling apart, I’m hoping they’ll last till Christmas then I’ll treat my self to some new snazzy ones next year!
I hope things clear up soon!
We’ll see!
I also hope things clear up soon, Keith!
Things can only get better 🎶
A visionary story, Keith. Eye opening.
That would have made a good title! Thanks, Will.
see you later!
…in a while!
Is the carrot thing still a thing parents say to their kids?
Fun story – thanks Keith.
I don’t know. We really believed it years ago!
You are right, Keith. Parents were once the font of all knowledge so it was never questioned when I was a child.
Haha! He definitely needs glasses and some common sense 😂😂😂
You are so right, Sadje!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Lol, that’s like me minus the bumping into things part.
I bump ito thing that I can see!
your story reminded me to eat more carrots….
…let me know if it works!
Vitamin See is so cool !!! And hilarious too.
It made sense to me! Thanks so much.
This made me laugh – a proper Mr Magoo – I loved that cartoon 😄
Mr Magoo, me too! Thanks, Angie
somebody should hide the car keys before accidents happen. 🙂
A good point, plaridel!
Keith – humor comes so esy for you – I know I say that often – but love your play on words and humor –
and by the way, vitamin see, I mean vitamin C in carrots – did you hear about how the myth was started?
I heard when English folks began using radar in WWII – they had to come up with reasons why their pilots were doing so well and started the carrot myth about it being good for vision
I had no idea, Yvette, thanks for that!
Thanks also for your kind words.
;0)
Haha, we know about glasses! – almost all of us… 👓
Oh yes!
The playful puns, the cheeky jabs, the “vitamin see” twist—it all works together like a lighthearted comedy sketch. This is the kind of humor that brightens the moment without trying too hard, the sort that makes people chuckle and say, “Alright, that was clever.” And truly, we need more of that kind of joy, for “a cheerful heart doeth good like a medicine” (Proverbs 17:22). I enjoyed your words very much.
Oh, so that explains my black & blues! I’m a blind old bat without my glasses. 🤓
