I’m often asked why I don’t write many poems. Well, you are about to find out!

Greetings madam.
welcome sir.
Come on in,
choose a car.
.
Madam just look,
all of this space.
Imagine the shopping
you’ll fit in this place!
.
Under the hood sir,
what a sight,
litres of muscle
to power your flight
.
Here ma’am a mirror,
terribly sheek.
Perfect when giving
your makeup a tweak.
.
This colour’s ceruleun
it’s you, don’t you think?
If not, by the way,
they make it in pink.
.
No? Oh well.

Thanks to Sammi Cox for hosting the Weekend Writing Prompt

All you did here- was convince me you should be writing more poetry! This was stellar!
Haha, you say the nicest things!
Well done, Keith. I like it! And lovely rhyme too!
Thanks, Suzette. It took me back to my car selling days!
You were a thoughtful car salesman, making sure the customer saw the value they required.
I actually worked as a sales trainer for a car manufacturer!
Most excellent, Keith. You did a great job in your poem, channeling your expertise!

Yeah the rhyming aspect is a good move, and your meter’s spot-on! Good stuff. Thanks.
