“You think more of your guitars than you do of me”, she shouted.  He carried on humming and strumming.

His passion for singing and writing music had become extreme, the reason for their marital discord.

She could take no more, she was tired of being his second string.

In a flash of rage she struck him with not just one, but two his precious instuments. It was fatal.

She buried him in the garden hoping the songwriter would decompose, but the cops found his body.

“First offender?”, asked the judge.

“No, M’lud”, said the lawyer, “first the Gibson then the Fender”.

Well a tragic tale indeed, Keith. Great musical puns in your tale of marital “discord.”

Technically, she was probably playing 7th string in his life…or the 13th, or the 19th…Sad that his life had to end this way. Wonder what ‘note’ it ended on. Loved reading this 🙂 Do drop by mine.Cheers,CRDscriptedinsanity blogspot com

    Shalom,

    Rochelle
