For Wordless Wednesday and Bloghops various!
.
Another weekend, another event!
.
This year there were more than over 500 cars on display. There were also 60 trade stands, lots of food stalls and a couple of bands to entertain us.
I took a total of 243 photos, all of which I liked. Reducing them to just a few was quite a difficult task!
However, this is what I ended up with.

…of course, there had to be a DeLorian Back to the Future Time Machine!

I could go on, but I’ll stop there!

I love a good car show. I’ve not gone in a very long time. Beautiful cars.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
I love them too!
Ah what a delight, I was thrilled to see these classic gems on wheels.
Great photos, Keith. I tried to pick a favorite but each one held their unique spark. But I must give honorable mention to the cute yellow Classic Citroen…why, I have no idea but it caught my eye. The “Earl ” would be proud of the show, no doubt. Great share.
Interesting you should mention that! One of my first jobs was a Citroen car salesman, and I sold lots of 2CV’s, I’ve even owned three incuding a Dolly identical to the red and white one!
Wonderful! I still do not know why I liked that photo. Maybe perhaps, your connectedness to the Citreon may have sent those vibes from you photos my way…who knows eh? Thank you Keith. Cheers.
I love car shows. Last weekend was the Dream Cruise here. My son lives off the main drag it is on and it makes for a nightmare. I used to go to a classic show here many years ago. I still miss my old 1994 Jaguar, even with all it’s electrical issues. My new Jag is not the same.
He must put up with an awful lot of noise! I bet that Jag was a beauty.
Wow, what a gorgeous collection of cars! Your photos always contain the most vibrant colors!
Mitch
Thanks, Mitch!
These are great! Back when cars had personality and did not all look the same. Beauties, one and all.
What’s up with that half-car?
I know exactly what you mean, I can’t tell oner make from another any more.
The half-car is actually a trailor that hitches on to that whole car in front!
Line up the SUVs and from Hyundai to Lincoln, they are all the same!
Ahhhh… Too cool!
What a gas!
I see what you did there!
hehehehe!
Wow! Gorgeous cars in amazing colors!
It was pretty spectacular!
What a delight! I would have enjoyed being there, your photos are the next best thing.
I’m sure you would, thanks, Mimi.
So SHINY and some gorgeous colors!
For sure, they my dirty car look very sad!
Hahahaha!
Great shots Keith.
Thanks so much, Sadje
You’re welcome ☺️
Hi Keith – that’s an amazing site … thanks for so many wonderful photos. As Rene says … talk about SHINY with some gorgeous colours … the days gone by – cheers Hilary
Thanks, Hilary. Whether one is interested in cars or not, this is always a spectacle to behold!
Lovely to see so many old cars. Some I could name, but a lot that I couldn’t. Great number plate on the Anglia. That was Ivor’s first car. Our friends had a Triumph Stag. I had a Capri 3 litre and loved the long bonnet, but Ivor liked his Dolomite Sprint better. Lots of memories brought back seeing the old cars.

Same here! There were so many makes and models. I had an Anglia too, in that same shade of green!
What great old cars there and so many in top shape! Amazing!
They certainly seemed well loved!
Wow! Awesome vintage cars ~ thanks,
an artist reflects
They were. Thanks for dropping by, Carol
I enjoy the nostalgia of car shows. Great pics!
Me too, cars had character back then!
Fabulous old cars! 😍 Thanks for sharing them, Keith. The hippie van was especially fun. 😀
Thanks Debbie, there’s nothing like an old Veedub !
Some beautiful cars there. I particularly like the mid-century ones with their sleek design and art-deco features.
That Scooby-Doo van is amusing, too 😺
They certainly had style. For me, the Citroen DS was, and remains the most beautiful car ever built.
cool cars!
Oh yes!
So many beautiful vintage cars!
Over 500! It was quite an event.
Trimming down from 243 favorites to these highlights must’ve been tough, but the end result is spectacular. Thanks for sharing this slice of nostalgia!
It certainly was! Thankds, Shiju.
all beauties! I like design of classic cars more than modern ones.
I couldn’t agree more. Cars had character then.
