For Wordless Wednesday and bloghops various!
Another week and another event! Despite being fairly small, we are the proud hosts of the UK’s largest town-based horse show with equine enthusiast arriving from all over the South of England. I took 232 pictures in all and whittling them down was not easy, I still l ended up with more than I hoped for! Such a busy day meant I wasn’t able to participate in yesterday’s What Do You See? challenge – sorry Sadje!

Wonderful photos Keith. I love horses! The kids look like they had a great time. So hard to choose a favorite photo…All wonderful. Love the horse decked out in many flowers with the very happy smiling girl as its rider.
It looked like it rained a bit. Great fun well captured.

I was amazing! Despite those back clouds, it didn’t rain thank goodness. I’ve just read that over 4700 people attended the event

I love horses and used to ride in my younger years. Such fun. I love pups too and I’ve had many in my lifetime. Each special. A wonderful post.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Such an exciting event! Hosting the UK’s largest town-based horse show is an impressive feat, and I can only imagine how amazing it must have been to see all those equine enthusiasts gathered. Sorting through 232 pictures sounds like quite the challenge, but the final selection is fantastic. Love the photos 🐎📸

W are quite proud of it, for a small seaside town without a single hotel, it’s quite something!

So many beautiful horses and dogs! 😍 Thanks for the photo essay. That Dalmatian caught my eye especially, since we had one for 15 years, and I still miss her. They generally have a natural affinity for horses, due to their history of being firehouse dogs. Their job in previous centuries was to clear the path for the horses pulling the fire wagons.

Beautiful horses and great action shots! It reminds me of the first time I took my horse to a local show in the best ridden hunter. He was an Irish TB ex racehorse. He did well in the walk and trot, but when it came to the canter he thought he was back on a racecourse! It was a fight and I did eventually get him back under control without being kicked out of the ring.

I’d love to have witnessed that, he was clearly quite excitable! Our lot were mostly very well behaved this year!

I did not even know there were events like horse shows, though I guess rodeos here in Texas where I live are somewhat similar. Wonderful photos!
