Let’s look at the facts. You waited until the kitchen was unoccupied. You took a vase from the cupboard. You smashed it. After committing the crime of which you are accused you hid the vase in the hope it would not be discovered. Yes or no?

Samuel, you are doing yourself no favours. You had the means, the opportunity and the motif.
Okay Mary, I did it! I wanted to surprise you with some flowers but I accidentally broke the vase and cut my finger. I‘ve hidden the flowers in the garage until tomorrow when I intend buying a new vase to replace the one I smashed, now will you please shut up and let me watch Law and Order, we are just getting to the verdict!

Whenever I get to a Keith story I start to smile before I even read the title. Sometimes the smile stays as a regular smile and other times, like with this story, it turns into a big smile.
