For Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers photo prompt.
.
.
.
I suggested we have a drink. That’s all, just a drink. I wanted nothing more, except some peanuts to nibble on of course. The next day she invited me for a drink. If she’s paying, why not I thought!
That evening something unexpected happened. It wasn’t just nuts I fancied nibbling. No, suddenly she became the light of my life!
We had a few dates; the only ones I’d previously had were those sticky things you eat.
Our romance didn’t last. The light went out like a candle in the wind.
Which reminds me, my torch needs a new battery.
.
Prod Froggie to see the squares!

Hahaha! Excellent take on the prompt, Keith!
Gotta keep on lookin’, I guess! Though I suspect he’s all about the chase, anyway.

How do you come up with these fabulous storylines, Keith. Well done. At least the dates (Midgjool etched) are sweet experiences.
