For Wordless Wednesday and bloghops various!

Three or so years ago, someone in our town came up with the bright idea of turning the bridge that crosses the railway station into an art gallery! Local artists were invited to submit works to be displayed. Every now again the pictures are changed. I brightened up this miserable morning by taking a few snaps to show you!.

I think that is a fantabulous idea!
We have an art gallery by the St. Lawrence River that the residents set up during COVID. It’s lovely to visit (when the water isn’t too high!) and there are pieces that come and go.

How wonderful! Love the animal ones. They do something similar here on the shore road, but last year saw a lot of vandalism so we don’t have so many.

What a fun idea to make an otherwise boring spot interesting. We wonder how they survive in the weather elements and how they are attached so people don’t steal them.

What a wonderful and clever idea to have a gallery on that bridge! Of course, the bridge itself and looking down and the train platforms below has an aesthetic quality itself, but the hanging art on the bridge adds some extra to it. I did spot a cat among the paintings/prints 😺
