It may have poured in Paris, but it didn’t rain on our parade!

Here’s Linky!

Wonderful share, Keith. I do enjoy seeing that iconic emblem of summer vibes that springs to mind with carnivals and fairground rides. Great photos, they have a sense of up close and personal to them.
Thanks, Suzette, it’s the highlight of our summer here in little ole’ Bexhill on Sea!
Awesome! And a fabulous highlight indeed!!
Loved your post looked like such fun and everyone so happy, wehn I was a kid we had Battersea Funfair in London I loved it was always in therre when i could till it all was shut down in late 70’s
Have a carnivaltastic week Keith and thanks fr sharing 👍
I remember Battersea Funfair well, Steve!
Such beautiful and vibrant images, Keith. Fun at the fair, parade, etc. 🙂
It was a fun-filled day, Dale! We may only be a small town, but we don’t believe in doing things by half!
I think small towns do it best!
Seems like everyone has loads of fun
They did, the atmosphere was amazing!
Awesome 👏🏼
I see Ruffles crisps! They are the best!
Ruffles Originals, well spotted!
Hi Keith – wonderful set of photos showing us Bexhill’s carnival; I have to day I’d never heard of Ruffles crisps … live and learn … and I see they’re in the sweet shop area … cheers HIlary
That was the culmination of an amazing three day event! As for Ruffles, I didn’t realise they still made them!
That was a delight! We have plenty of parades here, but it’s been a long time since I’ve been to one or a carnival, either. I may have to remedy that soon.
Being surrounded by smiling faces and jolly laughter for a few hours is lovely! You really should, Mimi!
wow, festive photos
Thanks, Beth!
How fun. Love all the shots and I stopped at the German place for food and then the Hangover for a brew. I had a great time.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
Me too – were you following me? !!
OMG, not just great photos, but the colors are so vibrant! You are good!
Mitch
That’s really kind of you Mitch, thank you!
*I had several tries at leaving a comment on your blog without sucsess!
So colourful! Great pics!
Thanks so much, Lydia!
Fabulous photos, Keith, and so beautifully bright. The colors popped. What a fun day!
Thanks, it was great, Nancy!
I bet it was!
How festive! 😀 That must have been a fun day for all and your photos captured it beautifully. We don’t have local carnivals anymore. Those were the days!
It was lovely, but even ours is a lot smaller than it was a few years ago.
Keith, these photos are fantastic!
Thanks so much, Shiju!
Your photos are filled with the vivid colors and shapes of a summer festival! All those wonderful shots of people and rides and foods and fun! Wonderful!
Thanks so much for your kind words!
That was quite an event. It’s amazing how there is nothing there, then in a day or two it is all set up and full of life and then overnight, it disappears. What was the celebration for?
It comes and goes! It’s annual celebration of everything that’s good about our little seaside town!
Great photos tell great tales. Nice job, Keith.
Absolutely, every picture tells a story! Thanks, Asha.
WOW, looks like an amazing event with lots of fun. So very cool. Great pictures. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
It was great and the weather was kind to us too!
Such a colorful and festive event! Looks like a lot of fun for everyone. And glad the weather cooperated 😺
Smiling faces everywhere!
The parade is wonderful
I watched then followed it, it was great fun!
This looks like SUCH a fun day. I love how colourful these photos are!
Thanks so much, it was enormous fun!
