for Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers on a Wednesday!

I’m lost for words, my mind’s been plunged into darkness. I have but a couple of hours to find a way in which to tell her how I feel.
Something always told me she felt the same. That neither of us dared speak of it for fear of ruining our friendship.
One last chance. If I fail, she’ll say goodbye, never knowing how much I’ve longed for us to be as one.
Beyond the gloom of my room the sun shines. Surely that’s good.
A couple of hours, that’s all, then our lives may change. For better, or for worse.

Is this written in the stars? Or the beginning of a stalking habit? I wonder

Intriguing story Keith. Lots of unknowns left as threads for the reader to ponder. Sunshine is always a good sign, I think!

Sometimes you have to take the plunge. You know limbo is about as close to hell as you can get without being there.
