Colin, Ray, Anne, Fred and Tina were enjoying a drink together when John rushed in… “guess what crafty Chris has been up to, you won’t believe what he told me!”
“He’s brewed some craft ale”, quipped Colin, “he had a ride on a hovercraft” suggested Ray, “he’s joined the Craft Club” chuckled Anne“, ‘ain’t got a clue” said Fred, “tell us then” said Tina.
“Well, he….” “Cast into the River And Fished for Trout” interrupted Fred, “him and Colin Raced And Finished Together” said Anne, “he Comes Regularly And F…..”; “enough of that potty-mouth talk”, shouted Landlord Len, “Colin Really has A Filthy Tongue” joked Tina!
“As I was saying before I was rudely heckled, he Comes Regularly And Fills his Tummy” said Colin as he took a bite of his Cheese Relish And Flatbread Toastie.
“I’ve heard enough of your Crazy Risible Acronyms For Today” said an exasperarted John, “do you want to hear about crafty Chris or not… you do?… well okay then; he… erm… erm…he…erm… well, thanks to you lot I’ve forgotten, it happens a lot lately, Can’t Remember, Always Forgetting Things, grrrr!
“Well, I’m off now” said Colin, “ ‘bye Ray, ’bye Anne, ‘bye Fred, ‘bye Tina and don’t forget you’re having tea with me, Come Round After Five Tomorrow”.

I love how ellipses and colons, semi-colons, and commas come into play in these “Six-sentence stories”.
That said, what a bratty bunch!
What would we do without them?!!
We’d barely have a story! 😉
Wretched interrupters.
I know. Acrimonious exchanges interrupting my acronyms, appalling!
I see what you did there. Over and over. Cool- really awesome, fun take.
Thanks, it was fun to write!

Haha, now I’ve got you started! Thanks, Clark.
What a crew!
Yes, they’re an odd lot!
I had to come to read one of your stories again or actually to listen. You are a good storyteller. Nothing better as having a drink and making some fun Although John might think differently lol Now I still wanted to hear the story of crafty Chris but is he coming for the tea
Marja, how lovely to see you here! If I ever find out what crafty Chris was up to I’ll let you know!
Maybe John will remember what Chris had been up to tomorrow.
that’s a possibility I suppose! Cheers, Frank.
He needs to start writing things down, that’s what I’ve had to do.
Me too,Mimi!
Haha! Note that’s now fair to interrupt someone when they are telling a story. 😂😊😊
I’m pleased you agree, Sadje!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Fun story, again!!
Thanks again, Chris!!
I’m sure it was pretty crafty. I still would like to know though 😁
So would I, Maria!
