What a wonderful breakfast menu.

     Too fancy for me, what are you having?

Spoppressata, spiced chickpeas and eggs… 

     I was hoping for porridge.

…or Swedish cinnamon-scented sticky buns… 

     What do writers have for breakfast? Synonym buns!

…or omuraisu rice omlettes…

     What do cows have? Moo-sli! 

…or  pea, prosciutto and pecorino frittata…  

     Why did the bacon laugh? The egg cracked a yolk!

…or  choc-chip piketets with caramelised pears. 

     What’s the best part of a waffle? The W ‘cause without it it’s awful!

I know what you’re having.

     What? 

Puncakes! 

     Wrong. Croissant au beurre viennoiseries à la confiture de fraises!

I’ll just have toast.
