Broken down again, Celia sat on the grass bank, her journey brought to a sudden halt, “it’s time I got myself a new one,” she said to herself.
“How about this?” asked the slick salesman, “or that one, just look at it”, but Celia wasn’t taken by either of them.
“This might suit you”, he enthused, “it’s a little more expensive but well worth it”.
Celia liked the look of it, “how much?” she asked.
“‘Eleven,” he said, “nine,” she replied, “ten,” said he, thrusting out his hand, “let’s seal the deal, Celia!”
With carbon fibre bristles, an ebony handle, vertical takeoff, and zero to a hundred in seconds, Celia is the envy of all her fellow witches.

Pardon the sweeping generalization, Keith; but I did not see that ending coming!

I was hoping nobody would ask that because I don’t have a clue! At first, I thought 10 wishes but I don’t think witches grant wishes so I’ll go with Maria’a suggestion – gold coins it is! Unfortunately, ladies, that’s cleared me out!

Looks like Sadje and I are out of luck. 😁
It be a bit different for a witch to grant wishes, let alone 10. But maybe she’s a different kind of witch 😉

Aww, if we could borrow some gold coins we would have saved so much time and hassle zipping here and there on our brooms 🧹
