Apparently, there’s a heavenly view from up there.
I don’t trust steps, they’re always up to something!
Haha, very funny, not!
But there are one, two, three, da-da-da … eighteen of them.
That’s not many.
And they’re slippery.
Don’t worry, I’ll hold your hand!
No, you won’t!
Come on, it’ll be worth it.
Eddie Cochran said there are only Three Steps to Heaven, that’s all.
That was just a song.
According to that Miles Davis album, there are just Seven Steps to Heaven, eleven less than those.
Okay, there are some steps going down over there. Fancy those instead?
Hell, no!

I definitely think I’d opt for going up, tiring though it may be. There’s a lot of pain to be had by coming down…

They need to find one set of stairs and start from the top and the bottom towards each other, meeting half way

Dear Keith,
And sheeeee’s climbing the stairway to heaven. There. Got that out of my system. Love the banter and the last line.

Go for the view, I say. Heaven or Hell, it’s their choice. Laced with tongue in the cheek humour, loved it.

It certainly looks inviting up there, and I think the steps themselves are rather lovely. Go for it!

One’s the optimist and the other the pessimist. Shall the two minds ever meet? Funny but oh my the pessimist is irritating!
