I attended a lecture the other day. It wasn’t meant to be a lecture, just a drink with some mates, but whenever Brainbox Brian turns up he always attempts to impart his wisdom upon us.
He told us how living a monochrome life in a kaleidoscopic environment deprives us of the nectarous nature that’s there for the tasting. How we should leave the chill of a blinkered perspective and embrace the warmth that surrounds us.
Well, something like that!
So I bought a colouring book, some crayons and a bar of chocolate, then lit a log fire. Excellent suggestions Brian!

Profound advice from Brainbox Brian.
P.S. Isn’t there a game called “BrainBox” any relation to Brainbox Brian?
Brian and brain are anagrams. Brillint writing.

I do believe there is, but I doubt there’s a connection as his version would be very boring! As for the anagram, well spotted, I wondered if anyone would notice!

Dear Keith,
It does sound like the ideal way to spend an evening. Color on.

Fun story and his mate, though aggravating, had the right idea this time.

I think Brian should get the drinks in, then maybe you’ll stay. Does the pub empty as he arrives?
Great picture you’ve created, I am attracted to the chocolate.

I imagine it did, I had a customer at my pub who did just that! Thanks, James.

I think Brainbox Brian would make me want more than chocolate and a fire. Perhaps a dram of whiskey. Well done.

If you’re doing what you love, it’s not a monochrome existence and if coloring, chocolate and a warm fire is what you love, go for it!

Hello Mate, Cute huh? Anyway, did I tell you my grandpa was from London (on my father’s side) my maiden name is Chamberlin & do you know what a Chamberlin is? It’s the King’s butler that dresses him! hahaha- At least that’s what I was told! On mom’s side my grandparents came here from Sicily… & I bet you were there too weren’t ya? Hmmm Anyway, got to get to bed, getting late. Sorry I didn’t make it here Wednesday… I usually poke around on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays!!! Love Wordless Wednesdays over at Steve’s! Well, have a nice weekend! I’m waiting for my Children 4 & families to descend upon me & the kids run across the street to the park (I don’t see them much, but maybe it’ll be nice & I will be there too). HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Brainbox Brian does have some sound advice then – you just need to interpret what he really means and all is good – nice one Keith 😊
