Clicked on each. Sometimes the enlargement can be a bit frightening. The last two did calm me after seeing the one with the green glob.

I just clicked the green one and I see exactly what you mean! Beware anyone who is easily spooked!

As a water spirit and someone who lives near the water, I totally connected with these photos. Brilliant shots, Keith!

I’m delighted to learn that, Nancy, thank you!

Right now it’s deep beneath the water, but in 6 hours it’ll be back again! Thanks to you too Susan.

Yes that’s low tide. We follow the tides when we’re boating. Riding the tide saves lots of money.

    Great shots.

Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂

Yes and no, right now it’s high tide, blowing a gale and pouring with rain!

Where in the UK are you? I never think of England and beaches, it’s so weird. I’ve been linking up for so many years with you and it still takes me by surprise….(What I don’t know about the world you could fill the internet with!)

Really interesting what one exposes at low tide. I really like the rock formations and curious about the ruined concrete pilings.

Thanks so much. It never fails to fascinate me even after all these years.

It’s amazing what is under the water. Mom lived on the North Sea Coast in Germany for several years. The tide went out so far, everyone drove cars on the sand, but when it came in, you needed to move fast. Sometimes people got caught out there.

Same problem here, you have to be so careful because you can find yourself on a little sandy island We do get horses galloping along the sand sometimes, and of course, dogs love it!

It is an unexpected sight to see the world at low tide. And there’s something so peaceful about the beach (well, at least at any other time of the year except hurricane season!)

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings November 24, 2022 / 16:56

There’s a different world down there! I have no wish to be on the beach today though, the weather’s atrocious!

Beautiful photos. Are the short wooden stakes the remains of groynes?

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings November 24, 2022 / 17:11

They are indeed Jackie. There are still lots of intact groynes, or breakwaters as they are more commonly known here.

      • Jackie's Photo Blog's avatar Jackie's Photo Blog November 24, 2022 / 22:25

Thank you for confirming it. They are more often known as groynes down here.

Love the third capture and the next to last one. My memories of taking a walk on a wet beach – I still remember – in Holland and in California (the last one not so wet:)) Now I am too far from the beach – alas. Thanks for the memory how peaceful and live giving that was!

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings November 25, 2022 / 10:23

I’m so pleased these took you back. Thank you Emille.
