As I’m sure you now know, I snapped quite a few sculptures during my time ashore, but I can’t end without showing you one of my favourites. I can’t remember where he was, maybe one of you will know!

What beautiful buildings
I saw some incredible ones, Beth.
Vienna is one of my favorite cities. I would love to go back. And I also would like to visit Budapest again. Alas, I think most of my traveling is in my rearview miror.
I expected Vienna to be beautiful, but I wasn’t prepared for the magnificence of Budapest. I’m not putting away my travel bag just yet!
These were brilliant I thoroughly enjoyed LQQKING through them 🙂
Have a danubetastic week Keith 👍
Thanks so much, Stevie!
Vienna looks spectacular!! I’d love to go there. And the sculpture and balloon are both charming!! How gorgeous!
I wish you could see them for yourself, as nice as photos are, they can’t do justice to the real thing.
You’ve made me long for touring again!
At home or abroad, there’s nothing quite like it!
Beautiful shots. Wow and I love the food. You made my mouth water.
The manhole sculpture is in Budapest.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
Thanks for reminding me where I saw him! I did 7 cities and towns in 6 days so it all got a bit confusing!
These photos are fantastic! My fave is that last one though!
Mitch
I’d never seen anything like it before!
Amazing architecture! The last photo made me laugh. The whole trip must have been a wonder.
It was Patricia!
Amazing photos Keith. Thanks for sharing
The pleasure’s mine, Sadje.
🤩🤩🤩
Lovely post! Reminded me of my own trip, albeit not on a cruise. The last photo of the man in the manhole, is from Bratislava.

Thanks so much for the links, you took me right back. One funny thing I learned was that the statue of the lady with the feather on Gellert Hill is known locally as The Bottle Opener!
Oh that’s cool! I didn’t know this trivia about the lady on Gellert Hill. Now I cannot see her image without thinking of it as a giant bottle opener :D..thanks for sharing!
Simply amazing!!
An amazing seven days!
Gorgeous photos of all the places, even in the rain. That guy in the manhole is great! We love finding fun things like that!
Me too, there’s nothing nicer than the unexpected!
Those buildings are stunning. It’s unlikely I’ll ever get to these places, so I thank you for bringing them to me.
I’m so pleased you enjoyed them, I wish you could see them for yourself.
Oh my gosh- such amazing architecture and design- wow. Nice to see the buildings are cared for! Thanks for sharing also that very fun Man Hole sculpture! Cheers!
My thoughts exactly Kathe. People were lining up to take selfies with that man – I resisted the temptation!
Amazing photos. I adore that manhole man!
It seems everyone does Lisa!
I cheated and googled the man in the manhole. It is in Bratislava and is very interesting.

The photos are beautiful. I say that every time, but they are.
Thanks so much for your kind words, Jackie. Why didn’t I think of Googling it? Thanks for the link!
Love the tour, Thank you!
I’m really pleased, thanks!
What a beautiful place. So very nice. Thanks for sharing it with us. I have really enjoyed this tour.
…and thank you for tagging along!
Both captures of the horses are beautiful! You really can’t go wrong with all these phenomenal buildings. The rain made the cobblestones in your capture glisten! I love Budapest too:)
Thanks, Emille. Rain certainly has its advantages!
