I live in the centre of my town and I’m surrounded by places to eat and drink. I took a walk around the block and snapped just some of the places I that have to choose from!

Wow. Just wow! My nearest restaurant is nearly a mile away. I’d have to walk all day just to see half that many restaurants.

This was way less than a mile’s walk in total!

Well now I’m Really Hungry!! Good to see you have some USA Fried Chicken!

I’m not sure how authentic it is! Being a small town we don’t have a KFC so this is the nearest we get.

I can’t fry chicken to save my soul–so just about anyone’s would taste good to me!

Gracious mercy! What a good lot of choices you have. A person could eat at one each day and not run out for months.

Oh my. I’m hungry now and I will tell you if I had the chance I would visit each one of these places. Sounds yummy.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Hi Keith – yes lots of places … you could come over here and add in all the Prom and Airborne feeding stations … I’m just not sure I’d go to many of them! Cheers Hilary

You have a huge selection of cafés and restaurants! As with Burger King, there is always a Wetherspoons!

The only chains we have are Wetherspoons, Dominos and Subway. Actually, I do like having ‘spoons just across the road!

That’s really impressive. So many different cuisines. Hard to choose from, I bet.

Spoilt for choice – the nice thing is, they are all independently owned.

That is so cool and interesting. Love all the choices. Very nice. I also love looking at the different signs and the lettering and such. Very cool.

I was stuck for something to post this week, then I looked out of my loft window and thought – that’ll do!

Great photos of all the signs. When I’m in another city or another country, walking around the city and seeing all the businesses is how I start to feel connected and comfortable in a new place.
I did a double take for that “Driftwood” sign. There is a Driftwood bar in my neighborhood and is part of a similar-looking building.

The businesses do tell you a lot about the culture. Driftwood, quite a coincidence!

Geez, you must be hungry:) I like the curries from the Thai, and some of the Japanese food. What is your very favorite?

Strangely enough, we don’t have a Japanese restaurant, I wish we did, I love my sushi! My favourite is Rocksalt, but it’s often difficult to get a table.

What a lovely line-up. Now all that food is making me super hungry and crave those listed on the menu.
Which ones are you favourite, I’d love to know! 🙂
Have a good rest of the week, Keith.

For me, it’s shabby chic Rocksalt followed by Taj Mahal and Trattoria Italiana!
