…Wordless Wednesday Other boghops are available too!
.
At the far end of the beach, there’s an area less visited than the section along the promenade. There’s a small cliff and grass, and for a month or two, flowers emerge from the succulents and other plants along the way.

Thanks so much, Steve. That’s Sea Kale growing on the shingle.
Very nice.
Thanks, Sadje.
You’re welcome
Hi Keith – brilliant … love the mesembryanthemum, the thrift and that flourishing sea kale (I got) – not sure about the others … the pea one I should know … gorgeous and you’ve captured them perfectly – cheers Hilary
Thanks for telling me what one of the flowers is called, I really have no idea!!
oh, that’s so beautiful – a natural beach garden
Perfectly put! Thanks, Beth.
These photos are gorgeous. I will never tire of seeing the beautiful colors nature shows us!
Mitch
Nor me! Thanks, Mitch.

So true, Patricia, thank you..

That’s so lovely, thank you!
Thanks to you too, Mimi!
I love all the beautiful wildflowers. Beautiful and great shots too.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
I’m pleased you like them Sandee, thank you.
Such gorgeousness, Keith. Ice flowers are a personal favourite. I love them to bits and can never have enough of all the versatile colours they come in.
This was indeed a scenic walk for me, on a cloudy day here in the city. I hopped in from the New Castle story I had promised last week, remember? 🙂
I’m really pleased you liked our little flower-strewn walk!
I’ve just read your lovely story and so enjoyed it. I feel I know you a little better now!
I’m so glad.
It’s raining cats and dogs here and I’m thinking of the beachy ice flowers!!
Such lovely flowers and unexpected along the beach. Here it is mostly couch grass.
Thanks, Jackie. It’s lovely, I’m blessed to have it just a short walk away.
Those are a lovely surprise at the beach. Beautiful color.
It’s lovely and not many even know it’s there!
We would love to go for a walk there and see those pretty flowers. What a beautiful area.
It’s a doggy’s paradise, you’d be in good company!!
Looks like such a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature. Very nice.
Thank you. It sure is!
I love seeing these plants in the wild. They would never survive here. They are gorgeous.
Thanks, Andree, they are tough little devils!
Lovely to see a couple of bees in there too. I haven’t seen so many this year – 2020 was full of them and it was wonderful.
Thanks, Annalisa. The bees don’t seem as busy here either this year!
That looks so much like the beaches in my section of California, including the (non-native ice plant). Love the photos.
Thanks so much. I bet yours are longer than this little area!
I know the purple and yellow flowers as “ïceplant” and grows in California, but I’ve never seen them at the beach. Here in Texas I haven’t been at the beach yet:) Right now it is too hot anyway – a 100 + degr.F). Great captures, Keith (oh, I see now that I confirmed the Californian blogger).
It’s unusual to see any beaches with flowers here! We are just recovering from a heatwave so it’s great to get back down there again.
Wow, a heat wave in the UK? What were the temps?
Those blooms look so pretty. I have a red colored variant of this pigface flower.
They are lovely, thanks Shiju.
These wild flowers are so stunning!
They are a sight to behold. Thanks, Mitzi.
