For Wordless Wednesday, Betty in NZ and others!
I took over 600 photos on my recent trip to Dubai, most of them at the World Expo. Don’t worry, I won’t post them all! I’m currently going through them and choosing my favourites. In the meantime, here are a few of my non-Expo snaps.

.
Here’s Ain Dubai, aka the Dudai Wheel. It’s almost twice the height of the London Eye!

And this is The Frame.

The view from the top.

Last week I posted a picture of the Museum Of The Future. It’s a prediction of how the the world will be in 2071. I took loads of photos! Here are a few.

I visited the Infinity des Lumières’ Boutique, an exhibition brings the work of Vincent Van Gogh to life. You find yourself inside his paintings as they constantly move and change. I was awe-struck.
Click pics to enlarge, it’s worth it!

Nice photos. That Van Gogh exhibit was here in Detroit. I didn’t go but I know those who did and enjoyed it.
Thanks, Denise. It’s popped up in various parts of the world, I timed it just right!
Such an artsy place and enjoyed the photos you chose to share with us!
Looks like an amazing
Place
To visit
Thanks so much. It certainly is Prior.
Beautiful shots. I’m sure you enjoyed every minute of your holiday. The city shot has the tallest building in the world I think.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
It is indeed Sandee, it’s the Burg Khalifa and it’s half a mile high!
Loved these photos your right that wheel is gigantic much bigger than the Londone Eye love the art too 🙂
Have an artistictastic week 👍
It is, 135m v 250m! However, the view from the London Eye is unbeatable! Cheers, Steve.
Oh my- great photos and I cannot believe that city. I’ll stick to the quiet country side! Cheers!
It’s like another world and well worth a visit, even for a short time. Thanks, Kathe.
So many interesting odd things in Dubai. Thank you for sharing a few glimpses with us.
I am particularly intrigued by the empty frame, as it has a surreal quality.
Absolutely so, I visit there quite often and there’s always something new and quirky to see! The floor at the top of the frame is glass. I couldn’t look down!
Those photos look amazing, both the Van Gogh exhibition and the Museum of the Future.
They were both incredible but the best is yet to come! Thanks, Jackie.
Wow, you out did yourself photo wise, these are all extraordinary! Thanks for sharing, I felt like I visited with you!
I’m really pleased you liked them, cheers.
What an amazing place, so glad you chose to share these beauties!
Feel free to share at My Corner of the World
They are just the tip of the iceberg! Thanks, Betty.
Wow! That’s some amazing stuff.
Hi Keith – thanks for showing us these amazing photos … I’ve never wanted to know – but ‘everyone’ (who’s been) talks about the Expo … so I would now like to visit. Some friends have just been – I must ask them when I next see them. It must have been eye-popping … so pleased you had that visit … cheers and enjoy our sun – Hilary
It was incredible! It was delayed from 2020 because of you-know-what, but well worth the wait. Next year, Japan hosts.
Loving the sun – much easier to handle here than back there!
So very cool. I remember being in Dubai 30 years ago. Thanks for sharing .
You’d hardly recognise it now, I bet! Cheers.
Love the photos series!
What an amazing place to visit!
Have a great weekend, Keith!
Thanks so much, Veronica.
amazing place to visit!
It certainly is Carol.
All these are amazing pictures and gave me an idea of how Dubai looks like as a modern city. Vincent Van Gogh’s artworks are really wonderful and so much creativity is there.
Thanks so much, Amila. I’ll be posting more in the weeks to come including more of the incredible Van Gogh experience
Wonderful photos! I saw the Van Gogh Immersoive exhibit in Denver, Colorado, and enjoyed it very much
It’s a wonderful, almost surreal experience
