For Wordless Wednesday, Betty in NZ and others!
I took over 600 photos on my recent trip to Dubai, most of them at the World Expo. Don’t worry, I won’t post them all! I’m currently going through them and choosing my favourites. In the meantime, here are a few of my non-Expo snaps.
.
Here’s Ain Dubai, aka the Dudai Wheel. It’s almost twice the height of the London Eye!

And this is The Frame.

The view from the top.

Last week I posted a picture of the Museum Of The Future. It’s a prediction of how the the world will be in 2071. I took loads of photos! Here are a few.

I visited the Infinity des Lumières’ Boutique, an exhibition brings the work of Vincent Van Gogh to life. You find yourself inside his paintings as they constantly move and change. I was awe-struck.
Click pics to enlarge, it’s worth it!

Nice photos. That Van Gogh exhibit was here in Detroit. I didn’t go but I know those who did and enjoyed it.

Beautiful shots. I’m sure you enjoyed every minute of your holiday. The city shot has the tallest building in the world I think.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂

So many interesting odd things in Dubai. Thank you for sharing a few glimpses with us.
I am particularly intrigued by the empty frame, as it has a surreal quality.

Absolutely so, I visit there quite often and there’s always something new and quirky to see! The floor at the top of the frame is glass. I couldn’t look down!

Hi Keith – thanks for showing us these amazing photos … I’ve never wanted to know – but ‘everyone’ (who’s been) talks about the Expo … so I would now like to visit. Some friends have just been – I must ask them when I next see them. It must have been eye-popping … so pleased you had that visit … cheers and enjoy our sun – Hilary

It was incredible! It was delayed from 2020 because of you-know-what, but well worth the wait. Next year, Japan hosts.
Loving the sun – much easier to handle here than back there!

All these are amazing pictures and gave me an idea of how Dubai looks like as a modern city. Vincent Van Gogh’s artworks are really wonderful and so much creativity is there.
