For Wordless Wednesday and others!
Last week we walked down the road to the beach. Today we are crossing the road the park! We’ve not had much snow in recent years, so I’ve dug out some pictures I took a decade ago!

You’re welcome
Like picture books – but I love the birds on the ice!!
That one’s my favourite Lydia!
Lovely photos vwery atmospheric too (that’s a big word for me) 😉
Have a snowytastic week Keith 👍
Wow, you’d better have a lie-down Steve!
Now that the walk is done, i need a hot cocoa!
What an excellent idea Mimi!
Really nice winter photos, Keith. My favorite is the one of the gulls.
Mine too Lisa!
I’d still go for a walk with you, Keith. Such beautiful shots. Love the birds and the snow woman.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous and warm Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Thanks, Sandee, nice to have someone to walk with!
Hi Keith – April 2013? I went up to see my Ma … and the nurses and I just regaled her with the speed with which the snow came down … and I posted a photo of a bike covered in snow … I am just so glad it’s not snowing at the moment! Some more blue sky would be nice … cheers Hilary
I have to admit I’d like to see a bit of snow, not too much though! As I write this I can see a hint of blue peeping through the clouds, nice!
The hint to the sky wasn’t much appreciated was it … let’s hope in the next day or two – we’ll get a bit more of glimpse! I too wouldn’t mind a bit of snow … but on a day when it doesn’t inconvenience me!! Cheers H
I can see why people love the snow. Beautiful.
Me too, just as long as it’s not too disruptive!
Snow has struck – I’m still waiting:) Love the overhanging tree. Never saw a female snowman with leaves in her hair – creative thinking:) Stay warm!
Soon the tree will be covered in leaves again, how time flies. I’d never seen a snowlady before – or since!
Are you one of these people who have a hunch to be somewhere at the right time??
Oh my bundle up your overcoat! These photos are fabulous- love the collection on ice!
I’m so pleased you like them Kathe – brrrr!
Beautiful photos. We get snow on Dartmoor most winters, but down here nearer the sea more than a light dusting is a rarity.
Thanks, Jackie. Similar here. I’m right by the sea and get very little, but a few miles inland it’s a very different picture.
What a stunning winter wonderland dear Keith.
Blown over. 🙂
I hope to see it like that again one day. Thanks so much, Natasha.
Quite remarkable winter photographs!
That’s so kind of you Shiju.
So very lovely. Very sweet pics. A winter wonderland.
