Beautiful pictures!
Thank you Sadje.
You’re welcome ☺️
Wonderful pics. Nice to see the sun peeking through in them.
Like skeletons! Thanks, Lisa.
🙂 You’re welcome.
I agree lovely photos I always like the look of trees in winter brrrr 🙂
Have a branchtastic 2022 Keith 🍾👍
Me too! Cheers, Steve.
A very nice walk, Keith. I enjoyed walking with you. Great shots.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
Thank you for joining me, Sandee!
That was beautiful!
I thought so!
Hi Keith – I quite understand – you went out when there was some sun – makes so much difference … delightful walk – cheers Hilary
My favourite wood. It wasn’t out for long, I was just lucky!
Lovely photos. It looks like you are getting much better weather than us!
Don’t be fooled! That was a very brief sunny spell in a very grey and wet week!
You just need some snow on the ground to get rid of that brown tone and it would be gorgeous! It looks like fall looks here.
If only, it’s been a few years since we had proper snow here!
I’ve read quite a bit about the health benefits of walking in the woods. The Japanese call it shinrin-yoku or forest bathing. I did a post on the time I spent forest bathing in Arkansas recently: https://readerbuzz.blogspot.com/2021/10/wondrous-words-shinrin-yoku-or-forest.html, if you are interested.
Although I spent a lot of time walking in local woodlands I’ve never really considered the health benefits – until now! Thanks for the link, interesting!
I can just imagine how scary those woods must be at night…. But in the daylight they sure do create a beautiful picture.

Thanks so much. I have been there at dusk and that’s creepy enough!
wonderful photos thanks for having me along for the walk.
The pleasure’s mine!
Such a beautiful walk. Very lovely.
I’m pleased you enjoyed it, thank you.
Since I lived in the woods on an unpaved road, this would be a a great place to be right now! A happy New Year ti you:)
It’s my idea of paradise!. Happy New Year to you too Emille.
Nice walk, with the lighting on the clouds.
It’s different every time I visit, and this was one of the better days! Thanks, Alana.
Looks lovely. Now I want to walk down that path and see where it goes.
A little further along it splits into 5 different directions – spoilt for choice!
Great photos of trees, sun shining, sun sets, and especially the pine cones decorating the tree! Cheers!
Luckily I picked the right time to take a walk! Cheers, Kathe.
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Jennifer!
Beautiful shots! Its nice to see nature without a foot of snow covering everything!
It’s very rare for snow to cover anything there! Thanks – and keep warm!
