“Goodnight Mabel,” I said.
“Goodnight Gilbert,” said she.
Seconds later I was flying.
I rescued a trapped kitten, helped an old gal cross the road … I disarmed a bank robber!
Then I woke up.
“Good morning Gilbert,” she said.
“Good morning Mabel,” said I.

Great dream.
If only it was real!
If only!
Love it Keith.
I’m pleased, thanks Di!
you’re welcome
ha, wonderful dream –
Moonlighting, eh? And he claims to be retired! 😉
Gilbert should have come to our rescue early this morning. In my dream we heard a really loud gunshot followed by lesser pops, then Bob and I were trying to get to our toddler, sleeping in her room. (It’s -35 this morning and when it gets that loud the walls sometimes give a sudden bang that sounds like a wrecking ball just hit one.)
Oops. When the temp gets that low.
That would certainly have shocked me awake! -35? I can’t imagine what that’s like!

OMG, this is brilliant! Thanks so much Sandee, wishing you and yours a great one too!
Dreams never die, just the dreamers!!
Very profound Dale!
I sense a touch of sarcasm… 😉
Ah, he’s a closet superhero!
Is it a bird, is it a plane, no its just Gilbert!
I adore this. 🙂
Happy 2022 to you!
Thanks Na’ama, wishing you and yours the same!
🙂 Thank you!
Perfectly packaged 45. My age in all my dreams. 🙂 Well done, Keith.
Mine too Bill! We can but dream.
I love this, too funny. I wonder what Mabel dreams… Happy New Year!
