Mooo!

Baaa!

.

Seven Sisters Cliffs, here we come!

We’ve made it to the cliff edge …

… now down the slope to the beach!

We’ll walk back along the river through Cuckmere Haven.

Now, where did I leave the car?

Is this Dover or are those white cliffs all over the UK?

Hi Lydia, the chalk cliffs are just found along the southeast coast of England. These start 70 miles west of Dover and run from Eastbourne to Seaford and regularly appear in TV series, one of which is currently being broadcast. They are mirrored on the northern French coast across the water.

It is lovely. I often take the Brighton bus to the Cuckmere Inn and walk from there – as I did when I took these snaps!

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot for a walk. Mom lived on the North Sea Coast in Germany for a few years and used to pass through cows and sheep to get to the sea too. You don’t see that kind of thing here in the USA.

It’s a lovely circular route I tread often. The sea is about a mile from the road and so tranquil. Doggie heaven!

SUch a beautiful scene. Many of those shots with the ocean, cliffs, and grass remind me of the California coast. We even have the cows in some spots.

Home from home! I’m yet to visit the Californian coast despite having family there. One day!

Beautiful photos. We did part of that walk a few years ago, but I have to admit we did park the car a lot closer. It was blowing a hoolie too!

I do park there sometimes, but I usually take the bus and walk the long walk – followed by a pint in The Cuckmere Inn! It’s very exposed and can be a bit blowy!
