for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Vellichor and the limit, just 48 words.
Today it seems I’ve swapped Halloween for Valentine’s Day, but fear not for I’ve also written a piece called Hallowe’en A Histoire which you can read HERE should you so wish!

.
Sagging shelves, dusty tomes. The vellichor, alluring.
There, a book I’ve yearned for.
I grab it. It resists. I pull. It pulls back then disappears.

.

A happy ending!

You know… this could be used for Hallowe’en.. He knows not the owner of those eyes… 😉
Wonderful, Keith!
Thanks, Dale. I did toy with that as I was trying to stick to a ‘ween theme this week, but after much humming and haaa-ing I took the soppy route!

Delightful story, Keith. But of course it is. How do you hit the target so well every time?
Lucky shot maybe? Thanks for your lovely comment, Bill.
Indded.
Dear Keith,
What a delightful story and illustration to boot. I leave your site smiling.
Shalom,
Rochelle
What more could I wish for? Thank you, Rochelle.
