This appeared in the Toronto Globe & Mail and should get first prize for “truth in advertising”: “Fat, ugly, early 60s woman. No sense of humour, can’t cook, hates moonlight and firesides. Seeks male who finds these qualities endearing.”
That’s brilliant! I wonder what the response was like. I suspect that due to its self-deprecating honesty she was spoilt for choice!
