Seventy one words

My advertisement needs to stand out from the rest; inflate the reader’s curiosity. Not just a dull list of facts, no, I’ll make it flowery, chatty even!

How about this?

Pre-loved. Quite a few miles on the clock but well maintained. Guaranteed to transport you to the destination of your dreams! Open to tempting offers.

I’ll just pop outside to take a photo and voila!.

Now, which dating site to use … !

For Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Pre-loved and the limit, 71 words

Speaking of dating profiles that stand out from the rest, here’s one I saved from years ago. This appeared in the Toronto Globe & Mail and should get first prize for “truth in advertising”: “Fat, ugly, early 60s woman. No sense of humour, can’t cook, hates moonlight and firesides. Seeks male who finds these qualities endearing.”

That’s brilliant! I wonder what the response was like. I suspect that due to its self-deprecating honesty she was spoilt for choice!
