for Friday Fictioneers.

My friend Rosey, some mates and I were at the pub when in swaggered leather-clad Biker Bob.
“Got a new machine” he proudly announced. “Come see”.
We followed him outside.
“Dah-dah!” he cried, gesticulating proudly.
Immediately, Rosey requested a ride! Bob tossed her a crash helmet.
“I can’t see,” shouted Rosey putting it on back to front!
Bob climbed astride and fired it up and we hoisted Rosey onto the throbbing pillion saddle. “Ooh, this feels good!” she chuckled!
Bob revved the engine, released the clutch and shot away … as Rosey tumbled backwards into our arms!
Not seen him since.
.
Thanks to Rochelle for hosting and to Lisa Fox for the picture.
Poke Froggie to join in the fun!
.
There are heaps more stories about my friend Rosey here –

Not a great start! 😂
Nothing unusual though!
Tut tut.
Poor Rosie – but she always manages to survive – no doubt with a huge smile on her profile … as she faced her catchers! Cheers Hilary
Absolutely so!
Great that Rosie is saved.
Imagine if he’d have disappeared with her forever!
My Story-The Key House
Not sure who I’d feel most sorry for!
Rosey never ever disappoints. Thanks for the good laugh and the little mind-movie.
She keeps me amused! I’m so pleased you enjoyed it.
Haha! That’s hilarious, well done, Keith!
Thanks so much, Mason.
you’re welcome.
LOL! Classic Rosey. This was a fun read, Keith.
Just another day for Rosey! Thanks so much.
Oh, the memory of my first (and only actually) motor bike ride (mopeds didn’t count and there were two instances of those). I was trussed up in leggings, jacket, scarf, gloves and crash helmet. They had to hoist me on the wall then bring the bike alongside to get me aboard, but oh the thrill!!!
I can almost picture the scene! I bet it was wonderful, and exactly what Rosey was hoping for!
Getting off was even more interesting…….I practically rolled.
I can imagine!!!
hehe. Happy memory though
At least no one got hurt. Maybe he will turn up eventually
I don’t doubt it! Cheers Larry.
He needs to come back and get his spare helmet!
Eventually I’m sure!
Probably just as well for Rosey. Very cool froggy-harley graphic this week, Keith!
At least she has a soft landing! Thanks for the picture Lisa.
Yes, with people who care. You are very welcome 🙂
Oh, my! Rosie had a rough ride for sure. Good story.
Ronda
Rosey does everything with style . . . her unique style, of course.
Indeed she does! Thanks Lorraine.
I had a feeling things weren’t going to go to plan 🙂
Unfortunately, she didn’t! Cheers Ali.
Very visual. 🙂
Thanks Sandra.
So much for a ride. Maybe next time… if there is a next time.
Rosey’s not one to give up, so probably!
Dear Keith,
Rosey provides hours of free entertainment, doesn’t she? Thank you for the morning chuckle.
Shalom,
Rochelle
When I’m stuck for a story, I just think Rosey and up one pops! Thanks Rochelle.
Obviously Rosie’s first ride – and probably her last!
You can never tell with Rosey!
What a great story. Had a great laugh!
I’m pleased, thanks so much, Tessa!
Any adult male who swaggers deserves to disappear into the fog. Swaggering something you expect to see in little boys, not grown men. And that is my .
sour[puss comment on a perfectly delightful story. Shame on me.
Haha, your comment is spot on, feel no shame! Thanks so much, Linda.
Rosy is always fun to read about.
… fun to write about too! Thanks Sally.
I think Rosey is terrific. Always up for anything that looks like fun! Warm and entertaining story, Keith.
She certainly is Penny! Thanks so much.
Poor Rosey, her dream dash to freedom and a new life with Biker Bob landed on its backside. I don’t think Bob was ready for her antics, hence was never seen again. Oh Well, lets have another fresh beer in the pub.
Absolutely so James, a pint or two it is!
It looks like Bob just wanted to ride, ride, ride.
Stay Safe 😷 Isadora 😎
He probably didn’t even know she’d dropped off! Thanks, Isadora.
HA HA HA I guess not since he didn’t stop.
~~~ : – )
Keith,
Got a little carried away, did he? Still I’m glad Rosey is still with us. I’d honestly miss her!
pax,
dora
Me too, my blog would miss her dearly too!
Love the ending. Very funny. That’s what I would want to happen if it was my daughter.
So would I Will! Thanks so much.
I must thank you for the efforts you’ve put in penning this blog. I’m hoping to see the same high-grade blog posts by you later on as well. In truth, your creative writing abilities has encouraged me to get my very own website now 😉
