for Wordless Wednesday and others!
.
Take a wander around the campsite with me. By the way, the facilities comprise just a chemical toilet and a tap, but I didn’t bother to photograph them!

That’s Chichester Cathedral spire in the background.

Time for a burger with cheese and bacon!

There were about 15 other small tents there, but they can’t be seen because the meadow grass was so high! Mine was by far the largest.
Spot the butterfly! *

.

Sunset (obviously!)

I love my firepit!

Right, I’m off to the pub down at the coast – it’s only a couple of miles walk across the fields!
.
.
Cheers!
*There’s the butterfly!

Lovely photos it was like being there with you, only thing was I couldn’t find the chemival toilet or the tap heheh!
Have a camptaptastic week Keith 👍

I did spot the butterfly. And it’s lovely you had the best of both worlds. Camping and pubbing.
I’m a bit piqued by the pot of sunflower at a campsite. How does that work? :))
Seems like a lovely relaxed time was had, Keith. Happy for you.
And oh! yes I had begun to drool on the burger with cheese and bacon; and then i reminded myself I’m vegan. Lol!

I had a great few days Natasha.
I always take a pot plant camping with me to keep myself company, a sunflower if I can!
BTW, I make a mean vegan burger with vegan trimmings!

How cool is that, Keith! Carrying a sunflower as company. I love these quirky things you do!
I had some drama in the sky in my alley too. Come check, and I added you link to the linky. 🙂
Gosh! The vegan burger with vegan trimmings sounds delectable. If I ever travel to your part of the world, I’ll hold you to that. :)))

How fun and I laughed at your comment to Steve about the chemical toilet. I would have walked to the pup with you. Just saying.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Keith. 🙂

I was given some clever little fir cones by my daughter that create coloured flames! They do look a little sad! But twice a day they get to float and the water comes right up o tthe pub wall.

Marvelous camping. I’m eager to do that…as soon as the temperatures become more reasonable around here.

I picked a heatwave, so no complaints there! Off again in 4 weeks – fingers crossed!

Sounds like a great camping trip if you don’t mind being in a tent. Mom’s idea of camping is a bad hotel, but we dogs would love to really go camping.

A tent for me, every time. There were quite a few dogs on the site and they were loving it!

Keith,
Chichester cathedral and city are so wonderful.
Especially that you can be out in the wild.
A few months ago I was listening to a musician from Chichester who knows all the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals and has made a trilogy of comedy films.

I’ve regularly visited Chichester and attended many choral concerts at the magnificent cathedral. This time though, I kept a distance from the city! I’m intrigued by the musician and his work,

Keith:
So happy Chichester cathedral and city are part of your life.
The musician is TIM WAGTER.
Probably the thing to do would be to search “Wagter” + some of the pianists and musicals he has covered – for example “Cats” or “Les Miserables” or “Thomas and Friends”.
In the last six months he has made four original songs: Mum’s Rondo; Ballet; Spare Time; Feelings of Isolation.
In non-COVID19 times he would come to coffee shops and assisted living [as the Americans would say].
And also transport in Amsterdam and Paris.

Glad you stayed far away from the city.
Noticed also the fire pit which gave me a sense of the spirit in which the trip was taken.
The blue flame – what a phenomenon!

Thanks so much for the information, I will certainly seek him out.
As for the fire pit, it’s a recent acquisition – I don’t know how I managed without it!
