Love the snake charmer shot. Fabulous!

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings July 7, 2021 / 16:10

I was a bit concerned about the way the charmer stared at me!

What great shots of people. What a beautiful place to visit. I will pass on the snakes though.

Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Morocco is wonderful, I took the snakes picture in magical Marrakech, but I didn’t hang around by them for too long!

Fabulous photos, Keith. It’s always so enriching to see photos of other cultures, and the craftsmanship these pictures show is stunning. The care and precision and the wonderful results.

You learn so much about other cultures just by observing its people. The crafts folk seemed so dedicated to their work. Thanks, Jenne..

Great photos of the various people. I am always partial to the musicians – and the dancer, too.

Very interestingly this week I was musing on making ceramics, and decorating plates!
Morocco seemed very interesting to me to go there, until I heard from one of my psychologist-in-training colleagues that her stay there on her honeymoon was very disappointing, (she is a beautiful girl) because she had felt like they saw her as an “object,” and also because of the restrictions with clothes. Because of her (future) job I took her serious.

I can imagine her disappointment. Needless to say, none of those things was a problem for me, and it remains one of the most interesting places I’ve visited.

Hello my friend, and I hope you’re doing well today. I love, love, love your pictures, but I remember the first time I spoke with you & you told me about all the places you have posted, so I went blog hoppin’ by you and read so many of them and enjoyed your pictures so much. It’s almost as if I was there…. almost, but almost just isn’t good enough, and now with Covid & everything that’s goin on in the world I think I’d be afraid to go anywhere, so my bucket list has changed, so if you don’t mind I will enjoy the world through your wonderful embracing pictures. Wow, and such a great camera that you could take such pictures to make one feel as if they were there. Now these peoples eyes I don’t know… were they friendly? They give me the creeps, but everything around them the walls with the designs… amazing, and you actually saw them making plates, and those… what were they pots or vases? Probably some of each. I bet they were expensive, right? So tell me did you bring home a wonderful souvenir from every country you went too? Your home must be absolutely fabulous! The vibes from each country must be floating through you home like angels. If those walls could talk and the streets pavements. Thank you for sharing my friend. Have a fabulous day, and don’t be in that sun to long today… it’s a scorcher!!!

I’m so pleased you are able to travel with me through my pictures.
The only eyes that concerned me were the snake charmers!
The current situation has caused me to put my travel plans on hold. All I did last year and will be doing this year is travelling around the UK with my tent! Only now am I beginning to appreciate what a wonderful place it is.
I have a few souvenirs. Needless to say, I brought a tagine back from Morocco!
BTW, it’s far from scorching here in England!

Lovely photos. The only place I have visited in Morocco was Casablanca. We went into an olive market and I have never seen so many, and of different varieties in my life!

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings July 8, 2021 / 17:17

Thanks so much, Jackie. Now you mention it, the olives there are great! I started and ended my journey around Morocco in Casablanca.

Hi Keith – excellent photos … people are quite extraordinary and wonderful to see; such varied cultures – I look forward to seeing more. Wonderful to see so many artisans happily working away in the streets … but your images encapsulate their daily worlds. Cheers – Hilary
