for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Kitsch and the limit, 69 words.

For the uninitiated, Brighton is known as the Gay Capital of the UK and many of its backstreets are a riot of colour. A couple of years ago I posted pictures of some of its gaudy shops for Wordless Wednesday. If you missed them, they are right HERE!
The creativity in this post wins the day! Love it!
That’s so kind of you Susan, thank you!
This is definitely the most creative post I’ve seen. I would ask how you created the colorful, multi-directional letters but I feel that should remain your secret.
Thanks so much. No secret, and if we had a whole lot of spare time I’d explain to you! The starting point is https://www.1001fonts.com/ if that helps!
What a colorful and creative post. 👏👏👏
We could all do with a bit of colour in our lives right now, so I thought why not start here?
Indeed. ✅
This is fun! 🙂
I was in a funny mood! Cheers, Na’ama.
🙂
Very colorful and creative post, Keith.
Not too much so I hope! Thanks so much.
Haha! I think I know what to expect if ever I were in Brighton! Enjoyed this, Keith.
More to the point, you know what to wear Dora!
Definitely the kitsch-est response to the prompt Keith, nothing better than taking a theme and running with it! 🙂
Not my normal kinda’ thing, but hey, why not?!!
Dear Keith,
I love the riot of colors and loads of font. 😉 Love it.
Shalom,
Rochelle
PS some great photos!
I’m delighted! Thank you SO much, Rochelle.
Well, i think i’ll just look at these fashions and not try to wear them. Fun stuff.
Oh, go on!
This is one of those rare occasions when I’m happy to be colour-blind!
You don’t know what you’re missing – then again….!
This made me chuckle. ☺️
Mission accomplished! Thanks, Emine.
Wow! I was amused, bewildered with “colourful” words. I felt miffed at the “kitsch like it’s mum” part.
I was like “What do you mean sir. Babies are always cute!” 🙄
A very brilliant full piece of work for 69 words.
If I recall my Literature in English lessons correctly, I think this prose falls into the satire or parody category.
Thanks so much, I hope I didn’t bewilder you too much!
I failed English Literature miserably which could explain a lot, but I guess you’re about right!
