Wow! It’s actually quite beautiful. The veining in the first photo is almost…ummm…artistic?! Don’t get me wrong, None of that would go anywhere close to this mouth, but it’s cool to look at! Thanks for sharing, Keith 🙂
It was Beijing Natasha. I did try several odd things – I am quite adventurous with street food and will try most things. My favourite ‘foreign’ food has to Indian, and that’s one of the things that keeps drawing me back there.
Boy, oh, boy. Right before donner. TYVM! Juuuusssst a feeeeeww not-so-appetizing things in those shots. Food angle aside, the starfish shot is pretty cool.
Yeah–good cure for an excessive appetite. Don’t know what that first thing is…but maybe don’t tell me. 😉
I’ll give you a hint – they begin with T! I suppose you could just call them meatballs!
Somehow I just knew I didn’t want to know. 🙁
Lost my appetite too. Thanks for nothing.
I’m so sorry (hehehe!)

I’m delighted you appreciate the aesthetics in the presentation of these culinary masterpieces! Sure I can’t tempt you?
Maybe if you disguised it in a meatloaf or something lol
We stayed well clear of those at the night markets but had some of the best vegetarian noodles I’ve ever had for $2. AMAZING!! (In Xian)
It wasn’t all as bad as that I promise you! As for Xian – loved it!
Thank god I ate before seeing these lmao 🙂
Have a mesmerisingtastic safe week 😷😷😷
Good to look at if you are on a diet and want to be put off eating! Cheers, Steve.
Thanks, i’ll stick to being vegetarian.
it was enough to turn anyone veretarian!
Some very interesting foods there. Thanks for sharing them.
That’s what I thought! My pleasure.
Me too! That’s gross . I can’t imagine eating even one of those things
I have to say, I only snapped the worst! The market was over a mile long, and there was some very tasty food between the gross stuff!
Wow, Keith! Was this at Bangkok?
Did you even get to try one of them?
I did try bamboo worms and some more…will leave that for later, lest you lose your appetite again! ;-))
Happy week ahead, rather a very sumptuous one. :))

Once Covid is behind us, you must plan a trip. And I can give you a list of places to go and eat.
See you soon. 😃
I’d like nothing more – who knows!
Nicely presented
Thanks so much, David.
You and me both. Yikes.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Thanks so much, Sandee.
NOOOOOO!
But the worse one is the seahorses, I LOVE seahorses 🙁
YEEEES!
I agree though, seahorses are not for eating!

Sorry about that ED. I only photographed a few – I could have snapped a lot more! I liked the starfishes too, just a shame they were cooked.
I think I will pass on those and stick to the cottage pie we had tonight, thanks.
