Friday Fictioneers

Personal issues prevented me from writing and posting tales over the past few weeks, but I’m back! Here goes…..

60946129_cf51e5035f_bReflecting on the past. Thinking of what might have been, what could have been, what should have been.

Time had blurred the pictures in her mind. Images once vivid were vague, memories once deep,  shallow.

Then a glance in a mirror showed another view, the reverse of what she’d seen in her mind. Happy memories, long forgotten, came back into view. Positive deeds, once buried, reappeared.

If only she had looked before.

This is so beautiful. Can I have a mirror like that? It’s too easy to dwell on past mistakes and forget the good times.

A very enjoyable, thought-provoking piece. I often get stuck in my head reliving past mistakes instead of focusing on the positive. “If only she had looked before.” So much wasted time. Well-done! =)

This can be so true – we are hard on ourselves. Must go and look in my mirror and reflect on your tale!
