Thank you. There was just the one, Di, a WW2 Douglas Dakota. It went to and fro several times.

We lived a few miles from the BBMF and often saw the Lancaster, Spitfires and Hurricane. They had a Dakota too, Quite something to see them in the sky.

Hmmm …. excuse me, but isn’t every day Bexhill Day? Sure seems that way to me …. and rightly so!
PS – that’s an impressive display of vinyl!

It seems that way! Next week the Art Festival, the week after the Classic Car Show….

I chose the vinyl close ups with you in mind – Beatles, George Harrison and Year of the Cat that you featured in your post last month!

Thank you! I thought it was most serendipitous that you displayed my favorites! So very kind of you, dear Keith. 🥰

Thanks, Beth. It’s the day we are reminded of all the institutions that make our town such a special little place.

This looks like a wonderful day was had by all. Love the shots which include so much variety of things to partake in. Those records displayed for sale hit a nerve, especially the shot of Al Stewart’s Year Of The Cat. That album was a big part of my teen years. Clearly, the community really has something to be proud of putting on this event.

Thanks. Bruce. As a vinyl collector, I was in my element!

Wow, those records! I wonder how much they were, not that I have a record player to play them. And the band playing the Marlboro Man cigarette commercial theme! (Yes, I know the music came from the movie The Magnificent Seven, but I will forever associate it with Marlboro cigarette commercials, which were banned from U.S. TV over 50 years ago now. I would have so loved that festival. Alana ramblinwitham

They were not cheap! That was a magnificent commercial – I just popped across to YouTube to watch it again! The band did a pretty good job of it.

Fantastic gallery, Keith. I love all the photos. I was impressed with the albums on offer. Lots of LPs by The Beatles at The Pavillion.

Thanks Suzette. I always leave the record fair richer and poorer!
